Residential EV Charger Installation

Electric vehicles are becoming increasingly common, and many homeowners want the convenience of charging at home.

McKee’s Electric Company provides residential EV charger installation in Florida, helping homeowners add dedicated charging equipment to their properties.

EV chargers can place significant electrical demands on a home's electrical system. Depending on the charger and your home's existing electrical capacity, installation may require a dedicated circuit or other electrical upgrades.

Our electricians can evaluate your electrical panel and determine the requirements for your EV charger installation.

Whether you're installing an EV charger in a garage, carport, or other residential location, we can help with the electrical work needed to provide power to the charging equipment.

Home Generator Installation

A reliable backup power system can provide homeowners with greater peace of mind when electrical service is interrupted.

McKee’s Electric Company provides residential generator installation in Florida, helping homeowners prepare their properties for power outages.

Generator installations can involve more than simply connecting a generator to your home. The electrical system, generator capacity, transfer equipment, and the home's electrical loads all need to be properly considered.

Our electricians can evaluate your home and help determine the electrical requirements for the generator installation.

A professionally installed generator can provide backup power for selected circuits or, depending on the system, a larger portion of your home's electrical loads.

Dedicated Electrical Circuits for Hot Tubs & Spas

Hot tubs and spas can require substantial electrical power and may need dedicated electrical circuits and appropriate protective devices.

McKee’s Electric Company provides hot tub circuit installation in Florida, helping homeowners safely provide electrical power for new or existing spa equipment.

Before installing a hot tub circuit, our electricians can evaluate the location, electrical panel, available capacity, and equipment requirements.

We can install the appropriate electrical circuit and make the necessary connections based on the requirements of the hot tub or spa.

If you're adding a new hot tub to your Florida home, it's a good idea to plan the electrical installation before the equipment is delivered so the required electrical work can be completed properly.

McKee’s Electric Company provides sauna circuit installation in Florida for residential properties.

We can evaluate the electrical requirements of your sauna equipment and determine whether your existing electrical system has sufficient capacity.

Depending on the installation, a dedicated circuit and other electrical components may be required to provide the appropriate power.

Whether you're installing a new indoor sauna or adding one as part of a larger home improvement project, our electricians can help with the electrical portion of the installation.

Wiring for Detached Garages, Workshops & Outbuildings

Detached structures can greatly expand the usable space on your property. Garages, workshops, guest spaces, sheds, pool houses, and other outbuildings often require their own electrical wiring to support lighting, outlets, appliances, tools, HVAC equipment, and other electrical loads.

McKee’s Electric Company provides detached garage and building wiring in Florida.

We can install electrical wiring for new detached structures or upgrade an existing outbuilding that needs additional power.

If your detached garage or building doesn't have enough power for how you use the space, we can evaluate the existing electrical system and determine what upgrades may be needed.

What They Said

  • Joshua Smith

Will and his team were fantastic. They installed a Tesla charger for us and did an excellent job — everything looks great and has been working perfectly.

What really impressed us, though, was their help with our water heaters. Another company had told us we needed to replace them and quoted us around $14,000. Will and his electricians took the time to actually troubleshoot the issue, figured out what was wrong, and got everything working again.

It’s refreshing to work with someone who is knowledgeable, honest, and more interested in solving the problem than selling you something you don’t need. We’ll absolutely be calling Will again for any electrical work and would highly recommend him and his team.

I had a very solid experience with McKees. The communication was great throughout, they showed up exactly when they said they would and did what they said they'd do with zero complications or excuses. The price even made me happy as others quoted me $100-$200 more. I'll definitely be recommending anyone I know with electrical needs to this business.

I have twice called McKee's Electric Company to correct issues found with the circuit breaker board during a home inspection for a home that was listed for sale, and again for our new home. McKees Electric was Friendly,Fast, and Reasonably Priced. They not only knocked the job out of the park but also opened up my eyes to some other issues which were corrected as well without the absorbent upcharges a lot of other competitors would have hit us with. I will recommend to all my family and friends.

Because of the excellent experiences I’ve had, I recommend them to all of my neighbors, friends, and family without hesitation. It’s hard to find a company you can trust, but Will and his team have earned my confidence time and time again. If you’re looking for an honest, dependable electrical company, look no further!
